Great movie.

Seven is a great movie. While it starts like most typical thriller, it soon turns into a fascinating story about a phsycopath killing "sinners." Very well directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, The Game, AlienĂ‚Â³), whom I admire a lot. Awesome performances: Kevin Spacey is amazing as always and Morgan Freeman gives is usual great performance. Some people say Brad Pitt isn't a good actor, but I don't think that's true, he just needs to be in a good movie. In Seven, he does a great job (just as he did in 12 Monkeys, Fight Club and Snatch, to take a few).
Now about the DVD, the video quality is great and so it the sound. I believe it's the same encode as for the platinum series DVD, but without the commentaries.
The only bad side to this DVD is that there are no extras. For the small price difference, I think the platinum series DVD is a better choice.
