Go to special features. Move down once to "Scene 44 (Deleted Scene)" then move once right and a blood stain will appear next to "Special Features", press ok and it will play a short interview with Ed Harris.
When the wife steps out of the shower after the crazy stair scene, hit stop and then play. It will show up in black and white and show you an entire new scene playing into the movie. Starts where Sam (the sherriff) is leaving and Tom says thanks for looking out for us or whatever he says. Show a dream sequence and stuff, pretty cool.
