The English subtitle track for this DVD, as accessed from the menu, is actually a dubtitle track, in that it merely displays the English audio dialogue as text. This dialogue has been censored to be suitable for younger viewers. To view the actual subtitles (i.e. as translated from the Japanese dialogue), use the Subtitles button on your remote to switch to track 3 while the program is playing. The difference is minimal in most places, but becomes very obvious during scenes such as the flashback with Washu experimenting on Tenchi.
