Synopsis: Hidden Love moves between past and present to tell the story of a mother who was consumed with guilt and feelings of inadequacy when she gave birth. Disconnected from Sophie (Melanie Laurent) as a new mother, Danielle (Isabelle Huppert) seemed to do nothing right. Sophie now has her own tale to tell as the past is slowly stripped of its secrets. In the present, the two of them clearly hate each other and are separated by an immense anger. This is the mountain that both must climb if they have any hope of moving on.
