Stormy Monday Synopsis: Newcastle, England, is a small town getting by on its own economic infrastructure. All of that threatens to change, however, with the arrival of a rich American business tycoon who has a plan to develope the little Hamlet and starve out local businesses. Specifically, he wants to buy out the owner of a local club, where there's another drama taking place—this one between said club owner, a cocktail waitress, and yet another new-comer. All is not as it appears, of course, in this neo-noir thriller.
